LEADERSHIP IN TRAINING CAMP

If you are 13 years old, you can apply to come to LIT - Leadership In Training Camp, a two week session where you will use the skills that you have learned as a camper to teach your peers and become more confident in a camp leader’s role. You will experience programming for every day activities, for which you choose, as well as a theme day program. You will be paired up with a Counsellor with whom you will debrief and share your daily goals, successes and have the opportunity to give feedback about your experience. You will also create lasting friendships with the other LIT’s; this will be the most memorable and fun time that will have ever experienced at camp!

 

When you turn 15, you can apply to become a CIT - Counsellor In Training. This is a four week session that prepares you to become a Junior Counsellor when you are 17 years old. This can open the door to becoming an important part of the leadership of Hidden Bay and a great job for your future summers while you are going to College or University. You will have the chance to gain more responsibility, share your programming experience and begin the transition from camper to Counsellor. It will be an unforgettable experience!
