Hidden Bay’s facilities include 8 platform tents with built in bunk beds (wooden “buildings” with canvas covered sides), each housing 1 Counsellor and no more than 5 campers. The boys’ and girls’ sections of camp are separated by a central co-ed activity area that includes the Camp Director’s cabin.
Carnegie Hall, our new dining hall and lounge was officially opened September 2007. It was named in honour of Herbert H. Carnegie, founder of Future Aces The Future Aces philosophy is an integral part of Hidden Bay programming as it compliments and reinforces our values of courtesy, respect and taking responsibility for what you do.
Carnegie Hall with its huge covered deck provides a great facility for both dining and indoor activities. (The Hall is available for off season retreats and special events. It boasts a large commercially equipped kitchen and nicely furnished bedrooms that accommodate up to 40 people.
Each washroom cabin houses two toilets, two sinks and a shower.
There are activity cabins and a very large sandy beach, daily games & fun, as well as evening campfires. Woodland trails and wetlands offer great potential for eco-adventures
The camp is private but not remote, and it is accessed by paved roads 15 minutes north of Parry Sound at 200 Shebeshekong Road in R. R. 1, Nobel (off highway 69 to 559 to Shebeshekong Road).
